Some days you want to cook… and some days you just want dinner on the table without thinking too hard.
This Creamy Beef & Spinach dish is one of those meals I make when I’m tired, short on time, and still want something nourishing and satisfying. It’s rich, creamy, and comes together in one skillet. No fancy steps required.

One-Pan Creamy Beef & Spinach
Why this recipe works
-
One pan = fewer dishes
-
High-protein and filling
-
Easy to customize with what you already have
-
Ready in about 20 minutes
Ingredients
-
2 lbs SFF ground beef
-
2 tbsp butter, tallow, or olive oil
-
8 oz cream cheese, cubed
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
Salt & pepper to taste
-
3 cups fresh spinach
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella
Optional add-ins: sliced mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, or serve over noodles or rice.
Instructions
-
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up as it browns, until fully cooked. Do not drain the fat—it adds flavor and keeps the dish rich and satisfying.
-
Reduce heat to medium. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then add the cubed cream cheese. Stir continuously until the cream cheese melts and forms a smooth, creamy sauce.
-
Add the spinach and cook, stirring, until wilted, about 2 minutes.
-
Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the top, cover the skillet, and cook just until the cheese melts, about 1 minute.
Serve hot and enjoy a comforting, no-stress meal that feels like more effort than it actually took.
Make it your own
This recipe is incredibly flexible. Add vegetables you need to use up, serve it over pasta, or keep it low-carb by eating it as-is. It’s a great reminder that good food doesn’t have to be complicated.
Enjoy!
